Learn the basics of slab-building while creating a personalized piece using about 3 pounds of clay. You’ll learn how to roll out clay slabs, cut and shape them, and use basic construction techniques to bring your piece together. **Ages:** Ages 8–14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. **Glazing & Pickup** Pottery takes time! After your class, your piece will need to fully dry, be bisque fired, glazed, and fired again. Please allow approximately **4–6 weeks** for finished pottery to be ready for pickup. You will receive a text when your piece is officially ready. If our staff is glazing your work, **all pieces made during the class must be finished in the same glaze color.** Want to glaze your pottery yourself or use multiple glaze colors? Book one of our **Glazing Classes approximately 4 weeks after your clay class.** This allows enough time for your pottery to dry and complete its first firing before you return to glaze it.
